I'm thinking about changing the name I use here on blogger. I didn't give much thought before using the name "Katrien" or the last part... But I did that so that I wouldn't use my real name so that my parents can't spazz at me and say I'm going to get myself raped and killed.
Anyways, I was thinking of changing it to "Eliska Macallister", which is actually even farther from my real name. I don't know though, I just really like the name. Macallister is a popular, actual last name... Since it's popular it's not like I'm actually stealing it or anything... Right?
Ahhh... I don't know.
I'm about to use that name in a story though, if I can ever get over my major writers block... Know any good ways to cure writers block? I normally go on www.languageisavirus.com . They have a bunch of interesting things there...
In other news. I am not a poet. I am in spoken word class (which is a poetry class in which you read them out loud!) and I'm really bad at writing poetry and public speaking. So that isn't going so well. Right now though things don't look as dark as they normally do. I wonder how long my content mood will last...
Haha. Wow. I wonder how everyone deals with me. I'm so negative.... I can't help it though. Really.... I've tried... Anyways, I need to return to being a brainwashed student now (I'm in the middle of class again).
If anyone reads this they should give thier opinion on the name change. If you do.... I will be SUPER happy.

I'm glad things don't look quite so dark. Even if you're being negative, at least you recognized that! I'm terrible at being a brainwashed student. I always have to ask the odd questions and push the sensitive issues. I think that's why my seventh grade teacher didn't like me, lol!
As for the name, I like Eliska Macallister, but I really like Katrien Scarlet, too. I don't know. When I think of you, I just think "Katrien", so if you change your name, it'll take me a while to get used to it for sure! Lol!
So, I don't know which name. If I had to chose, I'd probably stick with Katrien, though, just because that feels like/sounds like your name. Eliska is cool, though.
Name change? I just think their kind of elegant..maybe a little too elegant, haha; I think I wouldn't have this weird feeling about such names if I hand't watched a disturbing internet vid called Salad Fingers
plus, that class sounds interesting...
